ACUTE TRANSVERSE MYELITIS AS A NEUROLOGICAL MANIFESTATION OF HASHIMOTOS THYROIDITIS: A CASE REPORT

Spinal cord neurological disorders associated with Hashimotos disease are rare and very rarely described.Thediagnosis is based on a set of arguments the performance an exhaustive assessment in order to eliminate other possible causes medullary damage. In this case, we report 21 years old man, who was admitted for spinal syndrome D12-L1 sensory level diagnosed acute transverse myelitis thyroiditis. The evolution favorable regression symptomatology after bolus corticoids followed by oral corticotherapy.
